Keeping electrical terminations tight and free of vermin reduces the chance of short circuits which can cause control boards to suffer damage.  Keeping drain trays and lines free of blockages prevents water damage to your home or office.

 We recommend every 12 months for residential systems and every 1-3 months for commercial systems which typically have a much higher run time and demand. Commercial scheduled maintenance is assessed depending on the environment and type of systems.

 Most dust from the air is captured in the air filters but as these become dirty, dust is pulled through into the evaporator coil. This dust mixes with the moisture which is absorbed from the air and turns into a sludge. It is common to see dirt, grime, and mould in air conditioning units that have not been serviced properly or as frequent as required. For systems that are very dirty we recommend a hydro-spray clean. A clean air conditioning system means clean air!

Determining the air conditioning type and capacity is vital when choosing a system for your application. An incorrect unit type, size or position in the room can result in poor air distribution, high energy bills, noisy operation, shortened life or significant future repair bills due to a poor quality installation or the supply of an inferior quality air conditioning system. 

 We recommend 24 degrees as a set point for your air conditioning system in summer and 20 degrees in winter (heating mode). However, being comfortable in a conditioned space is mostly to do with humidity levels. Example: If it's 35 degrees outside with a high humidity and 26 degrees inside the conditioned space with a low humidity, 26 degrees should feel comfortable while 26 degrees with a high humidity can feel stuffy or uncomfortable.
